SCHOOL AND KINDERGARTEN

A forest school, and kindergarten providing schooling till high school will be integrated into the surrounding landscape to provide children with an experience of nature and fostering a respect for the environement throughout their education.

We hope to create a school based on Steiner principles, emphasizing creativity, discipline through mindfulness and meditation, and early learning through play. 

The forest school design will be based on using natural materials and maintaining much of the surrounding indigenous trees and forest. The school will follow an interntional IB curriculum for middle and high school students, and have boarding facilities for students living outside the development. The school will be complemented by a conservatory with training in various arts disciplines including music and dance. 

In the long term we aim to also build a school for the performing arts as a higher education institution for students who wish to train as perfoming arts professionels, and potentially form the company of the Kitapo Center for Performing Arts.
