GREEN HOTEL
The Green Hotel will be situated at the top of the hill offering panoramic views of the river and valleys, based on bringing nature into every aspect of the experience. The hotel will be a boutique hotel with a restaurant, pool, spa, roof top terrace and gardens, as well as an insulated indoor underground club for night life with no noise pollution to the surrounding area. Inspired by hotels such as the Le Colombe D’Or, as well as the African contemporary aesthetic of the Latutide Hotels (image above), The Art Hotel will work with artists and craftsmen to provide a permanenet collection of some of Zambia’s finest art and crafts.
GALLERY AND SCULPTURE PARK
Beside the hotel will we aim to have an exhibition space and gallery for changing exhibitions, and an outdoor sculpture park and garden. This will be built with the aim to grow into an independent museum for contemporary art.
CHAPEL
The hill top hotel complex will also have a non denominational chapel for meditation, prayer and worship of all faiths and may be hired for weddings, celebrations of life, baptisms, etc. We aim to draw inspirational from some of the world's most inspiring contemporary places of worhsip such as Lloyd's Wright's Wayfarer's chapel.
Architectural choices will blends seemlessly with the natural forest, and promote an experience of a connection with nature.
